Urgent Call for Blanket Donations to Keep Our Community Warm This Winter

Winter’s cold, damp weather has arrived, and it is already making a serious impact on our outreach efforts. The most urgent need right now is simple but critical: blankets. Not just any blankets, but a specific type that holds heat well, stays dry longer, and provides the comfort that people and their dogs desperately need as temperatures drop.

Why These Blankets Matter

We work with 11 people and 20 dogs who rely on us for support. Out of all these individuals, only one person currently has one of these heavy-duty blankets. To ensure everyone stays warm and safe through the harsh winter months, we need 24 more of these blankets.

These blankets are different from regular ones. They are designed to:

• Resist moisture better than typical blankets

Smaller dogs can often share blankets with their humans or use the smaller blankets we already have. But these heavy-duty blankets are a true lifeline for the whole family.

What We’re Facing
