At Pay It Fur-Ward, every initiative is built around one belief: animals are family.

We work to protect vulnerable animals, support the people who love them, and create solutions that keep pets safe without unnecessarily separating them from their families. Whether we are helping an animal find a new home, providing temporary care during a crisis, or assisting a family facing homelessness or financial hardship, our goal is always to lead with compassion, dignity, and Love Without Judgment.

Animal Rescue and Adoption

When an animal can no longer safely remain in its current home, Pay It Fur-Ward works to provide a responsible path forward.

Through rescue, foster placement, veterinary care, rehabilitation, and adoption, we help animals move from uncertain situations into safe and loving homes. We take the time to understand each animal’s medical, behavioral, and emotional needs so we can give them the best opportunity for a successful future.

Adoption is not simply about finding any available home. It is about finding the right home and creating lasting matches between animals and the families who will love them.

Temporary Foster and Family Reunification

A temporary hardship should not have to become a permanent goodbye.

Our temporary foster program provides a safe place for pets while their owners work toward greater stability. This may include securing housing, beginning employment, receiving medical care, entering treatment, escaping an unsafe situation, or overcoming another temporary crisis.

Whenever it is safe and appropriate, reunification is the goal. We believe in keeping families together, and that includes their pets. Temporary foster care gives owners the time and support they need while ensuring their animals remain protected, cared for, and loved.

Pet Support for Unhoused Families

People experiencing homelessness often face impossible choices when trying to care for the animals who depend on them. We believe no one should be judged for loving their pet through hardship.

Pay It Fur-Ward supports unhoused individuals and families by helping provide pet food, supplies, basic care resources, transportation assistance, and connections to additional services. By helping meet an animal’s needs, we also help protect the emotional bond, comfort, and stability that pets provide to their people.

We meet families where they are and work alongside them with respect, compassion, and understanding.

Veterinary and Emergency Assistance

Unexpected veterinary needs can quickly become overwhelming, especially for families already experiencing financial hardship or housing instability.

We help connect pets with veterinary services, emergency treatment, preventive care, and other medical resources whenever assistance is available. We may also help coordinate transportation, communicate with veterinary partners, and support families as they navigate difficult medical decisions.

Our goal is to reduce suffering, improve access to care, and give animals the best possible chance to heal.

Creating Second Chances Together

Every animal deserves safety. Every family deserves compassion. Every difficult situation deserves to be met without judgment.
