From showers and shelter options to food, clothing, medical care, and other local assistance, this page connects individuals with programs and services that can help them get through difficult moments and take the next step forward.
Shower to the People, a ministry of The Sanctuary Church in Colorado Springs, provides free showers for under-resourced neighbors. They offer a wide range of support services, including food pantry access, clothing vouchers, hygiene items, mail services, health resources, rent and utility assistance, seasonal programs, housing navigation, ID and document support, and referrals to other community resources. Their work helps individuals and families meet immediate needs while also supporting longer-term stability, housing, employment, and connection to care.

Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado works to ensure that individuals and families have reliable access to nutritious food when they need it most. They partner with hundreds of local food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, schools, and community organizations to distribute food throughout Southern Colorado. Care and Share also offers mobile food pantry programs, senior food support, SNAP assistance, and a food locator tool to help neighbors find nearby food resources. While their main Colorado Springs location is an administrative office and distribution center, their network helps connect people to groceries, meals, and other hunger-relief programs close to where they live.
