Weekly Needs Update – Thank You for Always Having Our Backs

We wanted to share our current weekly needs so anyone who’s able to help knows exactly where things stand.


Right now, our most urgent needs are:


Full-size blankets for adults – needed pretty desperately

Thermal socks – also needed urgently

Adult long johns (all sizes) – these have just been added to our wishlist after a full update


The good news: we recently placed a massive canned food order, so we are thankfully set there for now.


Additional items that would be incredibly helpful:

Hand warmers and body warmers


We’ve also already purchased, received, and currently have on hand:

40 hand warmers

45 hand and body warmers

20 pairs of toe warmers

40 XL hand and body warmers

50 Mylar blankets


This means we are stocked in these areas for now, which allows us to immediately help people in need. That said, as winter continues and demand grows, we will absolutely need to restock these items again in the future.

Over this past weekend, Josh and I were out in the storm for two straight days and handed out every single Mylar blanket and hot hand packet we had in supply. We went into the weekend with a decent stock, and it was completely gone within those two days because the need was that great.


In addition to physical supplies, monetary donations are always needed to help us continue covering hotel stays for individuals and families who have nowhere safe to go. These stays are often the difference between life and death in extreme weather.


This week, we are also going to be looking at purchasing a pickup truck so that we can safely access the trails and remote areas where people are known to camp. This will allow us to get aid directly to people who are often the hardest to reach when they need help most.

Pet Needs Update

Our Chewy wishlist has been updated, and our most urgent pet needs are marked as priority.

At this time, we kindly ask that you hold off on purchasing dog coats, collars, and harnesses until we know exact sizing needs. We currently have 6 dog coats already purchased, delivered, and in our inventory, so we are doing okay there for now, but will reassess as needs change.
